About this board game
Ascension: Deckbuilding Game is a fast-paced deck-building game for 1–4 players, with play taking about 30 minutes. Originally released as Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer, it challenges players to build increasingly powerful decks while pursuing the most Honor Points.
Each player begins with a small deck of cards. During the game, cards provide Runes that can be spent to acquire more powerful cards, while players also seek opportunities to defeat monsters and advance their score.
Ascension offers a dynamic play experience in which players must react and adjust their strategy as the game develops. The central deck-building system creates a direct path from a modest starting deck toward a stronger collection of cards.
