Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game is a card-driven dice game for 1–4 players, with an approximate play time of 45 minutes. Players develop their corporations while transforming Mars into a new home for humanity.

Special dice represent the resources used to play cards and perform actions. As the game progresses, you can increase your dice production, raise the planet’s oxygen and temperature, place ocean, city, and greenery tiles, and gain valuable bonuses.

Each turn gives you a clear choice between two types of play:

• Production Turn: Produce new dice for your corporation.
• Action Turn: Spend your available resources to play cards and perform other actions.

Terraforming Mars: The Dice Game rewards progress toward the planet’s global goals. Whenever you terraform Mars by raising oxygen or temperature, or by placing an ocean tile, you gain 2 Victory Points. Victory Points can also come from placing tiles, playing cards, and winning Awards and Milestones.

The game ends when two of the three global parameters—oxygen, temperature, and ocean—have been completed. Players then compare their Victory Points, and the player with the most wins.

Every production decision supports the larger goal of making the planet habitable while helping your corporation earn the points needed for victory.
