Aeon’s End: Outcasts is a board game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2020, it continues the Expedition system introduced in Aeon’s End: New Age.

The Expedition system lets you replay all of the content you own in a short campaign format. Rather than treating each game as an isolated experience, the campaign links your battles together and gives you a reason to continue through successive encounters.

After every game, players receive new treasures and player cards. These rewards allow them to become more powerful as the campaign progresses, creating a sense of development across its battles.

However, growing stronger does not make the journey easier. The nemeses players face also become stronger with each battle, ensuring that future encounters rise to meet the increasing power gained through the Expedition system.
