Too Many Bones: Lab Rats

Too Many Bones: Lab Rats is a 2020 addition for 1–4 players, with play sessions of approximately 120 minutes. It enhances the Too Many Bones experience with the Lab Rats, a unique multi-Gearloc Gearloc.

The Lab Rats bring four characters to the table: Slank, Gerbil, Flan, and Helix. Each one has unique stats, while the group shares a pool of 16 Skill dice. This combination creates a distinct approach to existing Too Many Bones strategies.

A key part of the Lab Rats experience is choosing which character is best suited to the current situation. Swapping the proper character in and out while equipping the proper equipment offers a fresh, brain-bending way to approach the game.

The set includes a collection of custom components designed for the Lab Rats:

• 21 beautiful custom dice
• Nine chips, including one for each intern and five 3HP chips
• A closable dice holder
• Four edge-stitched neoprene character mats

With its shared Skill dice and multiple characters, Too Many Bones: Lab Rats focuses on managing a group pool and matching each Gearloc to the situation at hand. The result is a new way to engage with the existing Too Many Bones experience while adding a distinctive set of characters, equipment choices, and custom components.
