Decrypto: Expansion #01 – Laserdrive is a 2019 expansion for 3–8 players that adds category cards, red laser tokens, and a new way to win to the base game, with a play time of 45 minutes.

In each round, draw a category card featuring a prompt such as movie titles, tourist attractions, or words that begin with an A. At least one clue you give to your teammates must match the current category, adding a fresh requirement to the clue-giving process.

Matching all three clues to the category earns you a red laser token. These tokens can be saved and used to attempt an interception of the opposing team’s hidden information.

• Draw a category card each round.
• Make sure at least one clue matches the category.
• Receive a red laser token when all three clues match.
• Spend two red laser tokens to guess one of the other team’s hidden words.

A correct guess earns a white token for intercepting the other team’s information. Collecting two white tokens wins the game, so a successful interception provides a direct alternative route toward victory.
