Kingdom Legacy: Merchants is a 2024 expansion for one player, adding four rounds of trading, resource gathering, and merchant purchases to Kingdom Legacy.

Your kingdom has become a hub of trade, attracting merchants with rare, intriguing, and sometimes bizarre goods. Trade your own items for their treasures, making sure you have enough to offer—or resort to the old chicken-dancing routine to seal the deal.

The expansion includes 26 new cards, most of which must be purchased from merchants. Each merchant is available for only one round, so once a merchant leaves, that merchant’s offers are lost forever.

Most of the four rounds are spent collecting the resources needed to obtain cards from the merchants. This makes timing important: you must gather what you need before the relevant offers disappear.

Purchasing the cards is only part of the experience. To actually use and develop them, you need to play further expansions, including the built-in expansions of the base game.

To play Kingdom Legacy: Merchants, perform a purge 7 and purge 2 permanent cards. Then begin your search for the resources and trade goods needed to secure the merchants’ fleeting offers.
