About this board game

1st & Roll is a football strategy game for 2–4 players that plays in about 60 minutes. As a sequel to 1st & Goal, it delivers the action in about half the time, with every play held in the palm of your hand.

Each decision begins with choosing the play die you want to use. Is it time to rush, pass, or kick? Call the shots carefully, because selecting the right play can gain a lot of yardage—unless the defense sets up correctly to shut it down.

The game captures the risks and rewards of football with a range of dramatic outcomes. Fumbles, interceptions, sacks, penalties, deep passes, and breakaway runs are all part of the action, creating opportunities for momentum swings on the field.
