Among the Stars: The Ambassadors

About this expansion

Among the Stars: The Ambassadors is a boxed expansion for 2–4 players, designed for games lasting around 30 minutes. Released in 2013, it adds more than 150 new cards to the Among the Stars experience.

The expansion introduces a fourth action: inviting ambassadors to your space station. These representatives can join your Council, with each ambassador offering a different ability based on the strengths and capabilities of their race.

Council space is limited, so choosing whom to invite becomes an important decision. Players must consider which ambassadors best support their station while making careful use of the opportunities provided by the new action.

Alongside the Ambassador cards, Among the Stars: The Ambassadors expands the game with a broad selection of new content:

• More than twenty new Locations
• New Objectives
• A new Alien race
• New Conflict sets

The new Conflict sets are intended to replace the original Conflict set rather than be mixed with it. This gives the expansion a defined way to refresh that part of the game while adding new possibilities for station construction and interaction.

With its ambassador-focused action, race-based abilities, limited Council space, and substantial collection of additional cards, Among the Stars: The Ambassadors offers a larger set of choices for players developing their space stations and strengthening the bonds of the newly formed alliance.
