Architects of the West Kingdom: Extra Player Boards is a 2018 set of five additional player boards for 1–5 players, with a listed play time of 80 minutes.

Released during the 2018 Kickstarter as part of the Architects of the West Kingdom 2018 Promo, this set gives players five distinctive abilities to use during the game. Each board changes the way its player can approach key actions and resources.

• Lothaire: Pay 1 less Wood or Stone when advancing work on the Cathedral or constructing a Building.
• Clovis: Gain 1 Building card whenever you construct a Building.
• Bertha: Gain 2 additional Silver when sending all captured Workers to Prison.
• Fara: Release 1 imprisoned Worker during each Black Market Reset.
• Hugo: Spend 2 Silver at any time to avoid taking a Debt.

These extra boards offer clearly differentiated benefits, from reducing construction costs and gaining Building cards to managing imprisoned Workers and avoiding Debt. They also reward different choices, including Cathedral progress, Building construction, Prison-related actions, and careful use of Silver.

Architects of the West Kingdom: Extra Player Boards is a compact way to add more player-board options to the game. With five abilities to choose from, the set provides additional variety for sessions involving between one and five players.
