BANG!: The Walking Dead

BANG!: The Walking Dead is a shoot ’em up card game for 4–7 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Based on BANG!, it brings factions from The Walking Dead into a battle to survive.

Each player becomes a famous Walking Dead character and secretly takes on one of four roles. The Leader of the survivors is revealed to everyone, while other players must conceal their identities and pursue their own objectives.

• Leader: Protect the survivors while staying alive.
• Saviors: Hide their identities and eliminate the Leader.
• Survivors: Work incognito to help the Leader survive.
• Loner: Work alone, defeat everyone else, and accomplish a personal objective.

As the game unfolds, players try to determine who belongs to which team. Cards in hand let them attack other players and heal themselves, creating a shifting contest of suspicion, cooperation, and survival.

The challenge is not simply to stay alive. Players must also identify their allies and opponents while supporting their faction’s goal. The Leader and hidden Survivors need to withstand attacks, Saviors must find their opportunity, and the Loner faces everyone while pursuing an individual victory.

BANG!: The Walking Dead is interchangeable with the original BANG! game and plays much the same way. Released in 2014, it offers a Walking Dead-themed take on the familiar team-versus-team card battle, with concealed loyalties and direct attacks driving every hand of cards.
