It’s a game where you will lead your clan of Vikings to victory by pillaging lands, crushing your enemies, and fulfilling prophecies—all in the name of earning glory before the world finally sinks beneath the icy seas in the ultimate cataclysm: Ragnarok.

At the beginning of each of the three game rounds (also known as ‘Ages’), players will draft a hand of unique God’s Gift cards that they will use to outwit their opponents and adapt to the evolving battlefield.

• Card Drafting: Players choose a card from their hand to play, passing the remainder to the next player, and so on. This continues until all cards have been chosen. These cards can provide upgrades to your Vikings (warriors, ship, leader), recruit mythical creatures with powerful abilities, or provide unique strategies.
• Area Control: Players place their miniature Viking figures on the board to control territories, earning glory and other rewards. But beware, because only the strongest will survive when Ragnarok occurs, destroying entire provinces and all figures within.
• Combat: When players share a province, a brutal combat ensues. Players secretly select cards to boost their base strength, and the highest total wins. However, in Blood Rage, even losing a battle can provide a strategic advantage and glorious death for your warriors!

Unlike most games, losing battles or having your Vikings sent to Valhalla can be part of your strategy, as certain cards grant powerful bonuses for such heroic sacrifices.
