Cosmic Run: Rapid Fire is a 1–2-player space-racing game with an approximately 30-minute play time, set in the year 2456. With Earth abandoned, the last surviving humans are divided into political factions searching for a new home.

Only two factions remain in the race toward hospitable worlds. As they compete to reach new planets and establish colonies, they must also contend with a hostile alien race intent on sabotaging their ships with space mines.

As a standalone sequel to Cosmic Run, Cosmic Run: Rapid Fire offers a quicker and more aggressive experience. Its defining escalation is the inclusion of direct attacks on your opponent, adding conflict between the remaining human factions as they push toward their goal.
