Coup X

About this board game

Coup X is a 20-minute card game for 2–10 players, released in 2023, in which you use card skills, bluff about abilities you do not have, and eliminate your opponents.

Every decision can change your chances of survival. You may use the skills of the cards you hold, or claim the skills of characters you do not have. The challenge is knowing when to act honestly, when to lie, and when to question another player’s claim.

Challenges make every bluff risky. If you are challenged and your claim was a lie, you lose one of your cards. As players lose cards, the pressure increases and each remaining decision becomes more important.

• Included content: Coup plus the Reformation Expansion, except for the Inquisitor figure

The objective is straightforward: eliminate the other players while protecting at least one of your own cards. The last person to survive with at least one card wins.

With its combination of deception and challenges, Coup X creates a focused contest where confidence can be just as valuable as the cards in your hand. Decide how far to trust other players, weigh the danger of being challenged, and try to remain in the game longer than everyone else.
