About this board game

DJ Set is a music-discovery board game for 3–16 players, played in about 20 minutes. Players work as a team to identify the color evoked by each song, then compete to score points and take over as DJ.

Each round begins with a QR code linking to a thematic playlist. The music may suggest a color in several different ways: it could appear in the lyrics, as in Paradis Blanc; in the song title, as in Blue; in the band name, as with P!nk; or through the song’s theme, such as The Simpsons.

The player who guesses the color earns a point for their team and becomes the DJ for the next round. They play the next song, and the group continues listening, discussing, and searching for the connection that reveals its color.

With over 80 different themes and 560 songs to find, DJ Set offers a broad musical challenge that goes beyond the usual blind test format. The playlists cover subjects including professions, first names, cities, and creatures, alongside many other themes.
