About this board game

Don Pepe is a 30-minute mobster game for 3–6 players about extorting businesses, eliminating rival gang members, and collecting the most cash.

Players place their gang members around an oblong table. Each position can offer a different benefit, creating a dangerous mix of income and attacks as the gangs face one another across the table.

  • Businesses: A mobster in a business space makes money until that mobster is killed or moved.
  • Guns: A gun space lets a mobster shoot someone seated across the table.
  • Knives: A knife space lets a mobster stab someone seated next to them.
  • Personal weapons: Some mobsters carry their own knives and guns, allowing them to kill others at any time.

The table layout makes every position matter. A profitable business can generate an ongoing stream of money, but its mobster may become a target for a nearby knife, a gun aimed from across the table, or another gang member’s personal weapon.

Players must weigh the value of keeping a mobster in a lucrative location against the threat posed by rival mobs. Killing or moving a mobster can stop that source of income, while controlling business spaces helps build a larger pile of cash.

The game ends when all available money has been taken. At that point, the player with the largest pile of cash wins. With its compact play time and direct interaction, Don Pepe puts business income and mob warfare at the center of every session.
