About this board game

Dragon Strike is a fantasy adventure game for 2–6 players, with sessions lasting about 60 minutes. One player becomes the Dragon Master, controlling the villains, while the other players take on heroic roles and work toward adventure goals.

Players can choose from five hero types: Warrior, Wizard, Thief, Elf, and Dwarf. Each offers a different way to approach the game, with the Wizard and Elf standing out for their larger selection of spells and greater variety of magical options.

Like Milton Bradley’s HeroQuest, Dragon Strike centers on exploration and encounters directed by a Dragon Master. The game expands that style of play with four different game boards, including an outdoor board, instead of relying on a single board.

Combat uses different polyhedral dice rather than only six-sided dice, adding another layer to encounters. The rules also include flying creatures, which can be hit only with spells and missile weapons, giving certain attacks a specific tactical purpose.

With its combination of role-based heroes, villain control, varied boards, expanded magic, and specialized combat rules, it offers a distinctly developed take on the fantasy adventure format.
