About this board game

echoes: The Cursed Ring is a cooperative audio mystery game for 1–4 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Using a free app, players investigate the origins of an antique heirloom and uncover the truth behind the curse that brings bad luck to a young woman.

The story is divided into six chapters, represented by six game boards. Across the complete investigation, players must assemble 24 story parts in the correct order. Each part is represented by an object—either a game board or a card—and is connected to an echo that can be heard by scanning it with the app.

Listen carefully to mysterious noises, voices, and conversations. These audio clues help your team determine which three object cards belong to each chapter and where they should be placed. The app gives feedback when cards are incorrect or out of order, allowing you to refine your solution as you work.
