Insurrection

About this board game

Insurrection is a 25-minute game for 2–6 players in which Rebel Leaders rise against the tyrannical Queen Kristin and gather an army from cards.

In a shadowed land where darkness holds sway, Queen Kristin seeks to collect 10 Corruption marks and secure her throne. Her loyal thralls answer her call, while rebels prepare to break through the walls of her Keep.

On the path to Kristin’s Keep, recruit troops from your hand of cards to build the best army possible. Each card you gather can earn you points at the end of the game, making your choices important as you prepare for the struggle ahead.

The game’s conclusion depends on the players. The Rebels may succeed in overthrowing Kristin, or the Evil Queen may retain her throne by gathering the required Corruption marks.

• Play as a Rebel Leader rising against Queen Kristin.
• Recruit troops from your hand of cards.
• Build an army whose cards score points at the end of the game.
• Face an ending shaped by the Rebels’ success or Kristin’s Corruption.

Will you stand with the forces of Good and seek to defeat Kristin, or conspire with Evil and wager on the victory of the Evil Queen? In Insurrection, the fate of realms both dark and light rests on your choice.
