Islebound: Kickstarter Edition is a board game for 2–4 players that takes about 120 minutes to play. You command a ship and crew, sail between island towns, and compete to become the player with the most wealth and most impressive capital city.

Explore the islands by collecting resources, hiring crew, and commissioning buildings for your capital. Every building has a unique ability, so the combination you create can shape your approach to the game. Build an engine suited to trading, construction, or invasion as you pursue your preferred route to success.

• Sail to island towns and collect resources.
• Hire crew and commission buildings with unique abilities.
• Recruit pirates and sea monsters to help conquer towns.
• Complete events to gain influence and befriend towns.

Conquered towns let you complete their town action for free, while opponents must pay a fee if they want to use that action. If conquest is not your preferred course, completing events can provide influence, which you can spend to befriend towns instead.

With several distinct paths available, Islebound encourages you to decide whether to become a ruthless conqueror, careful diplomat, or shrewd merchant. Your decisions at sea and the buildings in your capital work together as you race toward the final measure of success: wealth and an impressive city.

This Kickstarter Edition includes the Metropolis Expansion, adding 40 new building cards and 2 extra Reputation cards to the game. These additions expand the building and reputation options available during your island adventure.
