About this board game
Kharnage is a fast fighting game for 2–4 players, with games lasting around 20 minutes. Set in a med-fan world, it puts each player in the role of a warchief commanding humans, dwarves, goblins, or orcs in a brutal contest for control of a strategically essential hill.
Each turn, players choose one battle card. The player with the lowest initiative value acts first, then the remaining players take their turns. A turn lets a warchief deploy new units and apply skills if needed, or attack an opponent with all available points through shooting or assault.
- Deploy and use skills when your army needs reinforcement or support.
- Attack one opponent with all your points, or divide those points between two opponents.
- Destroy enemy units to compete for domination points at the end of each round.
After everyone has acted, the player who destroyed the most units earns 5 domination points. The second-place player earns 3, while the third earns 1. The player who destroys an opponent’s entire army must shout “KHARNAGE!” and stomp the table, claiming a Kharnage token worth 1 domination point.
The other players are expected to cheer with a loud “YEAH!”; anyone who fails to do so loses a Kharnage token if they have one. After four rounds, the warchief with the most domination points wins. Released in 2016, Kharnage combines quick decisions, direct attacks, and theatrical table-side celebrations in a compact battle for one very desirable hill.
