About this board game

Kilia is a board game for 2–4 players, released in 2025, with an approximately 60-minute play time. Set in Kiel, Germany, it places players among the city’s influential citizens during the construction of a canal linking the Baltic Sea and the North Sea.

This ambitious project offers opportunities for profit, but competition is always close. Players can improve their ships, accept lucrative contracts, and influence important members of the city council while working toward victory through several connected avenues.

On each turn, you play only one card. The distinctive challenge is deciding how that card should be used: every card can support different actions, so its purpose depends entirely on your current plans and the opportunities available.
