About this board game
Kribbeln is a dice game for 2–5 players that takes about 20 minutes, combining up to three rolls per turn with changing color-and-number challenges.
Each scoresheet presents a selection of targets, with six different scoresheets included in the game. Challenges can ask you to roll no orange, collect four different colors, or make yellow show different numbers than orange. These varied requirements make every line a fresh puzzle.
On each turn, roll all six dice, then decide which to set aside and which to reroll. You may roll the dice up to three times in total, giving you opportunities to improve your result while trying to meet the current challenge.
- Complete the challenge and write the sum of your dice on its line.
- Enter an “X” if you do not hit the target.
- Use the topmost empty Kribbeln line instead, provided each Kribbeln score is higher than the previous one.
Once everyone has rolled for a line, scores are compared. The player with the highest sum earns points equal to the number of players, while the next-highest sum earns one fewer point, continuing down the ranking.
After all players have rolled once for every line, the player with the highest overall score wins. With its limited rerolls, competing line values, and increasingly demanding Kribbeln option, Kribbeln challenges you to balance reliable results against the pursuit of a stronger total.
