Leaving Earth: Outer Planets is an expansion for 1–5 players that adds the giant outer planets of the Solar System to Leaving Earth. Released in 2016, it introduces new missions focused on surveying distant planets and their moons.

This expansion takes exploration beyond the familiar inner Solar System and opens journeys to four major destinations: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Each planet offers new places to visit as you continue your missions through the outer reaches of space.
