Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game – Heroes of Asgard is a Marvel deck-building game for 1–5 players, with a listed play time of 90 minutes. It brings Asgardian heroes, ancient threats, and the looming destruction of Ragnarok to the table.

Wielding incredible powers, Asgardians such as Thor and Sif were once worshipped as gods by early Norse tribes. Now they return to Earth to defend it from awakening dangers. Thor must confront both arrogance and self-doubt as he struggles to prove that he is worthy of Mjolnir and its legendary power.

Meanwhile, Malekith and Hela send followers to seek villainous weapons capable of matching Mjolnir. Their forces invade Midgard, while the dark world of Svartalfheim threatens to cover the Nine Realms in darkness. The final danger is Ragnarok, the epic destruction of Asgard.

The 2020 release includes 100 cards and a rules insert, adding new heroes, villain groups, epic masterminds, and schemes to the Marvel deck-building experience. Its contents include:

• 5 new Heroes, with 14 cards for each Hero
• 2 new Villain Groups
• 2 new double-sided Epic Masterminds
• 4 new Schemes

Each Hero features one rare card, three uncommons, five cards of one common type, and five cards of another common type. With its focus on Thor’s trial, the forces of Asgard, and threats spanning the Nine Realms, Heroes of Asgard offers a mythic Marvel setting for players seeking a dramatic deck-building battle against overwhelming evil.
