Long Live the Queen is a two-player board game that plays in about 15 minutes, putting rival princesses in a desperate contest for the throne.

After a terrible epidemic claims the Queen, her twin daughters are left to fight for succession. Princess Black Rose is determined, while Princess White Rose is ambitious—and neither has been named heir. Each princess gathers courtiers and risks everything to secure the kingdom.

Players serve their chosen princess by manipulating her supporters and using their abilities effectively. The contest may be decided through prestige, or through intrigue and violence that humiliates the opposing princess into giving up her claim.

• Two opposing princesses: Black Rose and White Rose
• Five character tiles placed face down on each side
• Dice-driven position activation
• Hidden characters to reveal or activate
• Tile repositioning that lets players manipulate their supporters

Each princess is placed opposite the other, with her five character tiles arranged nearby. On a turn, the active player rolls the dice to determine which position is activated, then reveals or activates characters before possibly repositioning a tile.

In Long Live the Queen, every decision contributes to the struggle between the two claims. To win, guide your princess to victory by accumulating enough of each type of prestige, or cause the opposing Princess tile to be turned face down. With its compact playing time and tightly focused rivalry, the game presents a direct battle for succession in which either prestige or humiliation can decide who rules.
