Loot N Run

About this board game

Loot N Run is a subtle bluffing game for 2–6 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Explore treasure-filled pyramids, manage your risks, and be the first player to score 35 points.

Each turn, choose one of three actions. You can draw a card and keep it in front of you, score the cards you have collected, or awaken the monster guardians hiding among an opponent’s cards.

• Loot: Draw a card and keep it in front of you.
• Run: Score all your cards, earning 1 point for each treasure.
• Awaken the guardians: Look at an opponent’s cards and check for guardians.

Running scores the treasures you have gathered, but holding on for more can increase your reward. If a type of treasure appears on two or more cards, your score for that treasure type is doubled, creating tempting opportunities to take one more risk.

The guardians make every decision more dangerous. If you find guardians when searching an opponent’s cards, that player loses all of their unscored cards, while you receive the bonus from those guardians. Knowing when to loot, when to run, and when to test another explorer’s luck is the heart of the game.

With its quick turns and hidden danger, Loot N Run challenges players to balance bold scoring against the threat of losing everything they have not yet scored. Released in 2016, it brings bluffing, risk-taking, and treasure hunting together in a compact race to 35 points.
