About this board game

Lost Legacy: Fourth Chronicle – The Werewolf & Undying Heart is a fast game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2–6 players that takes about 10 minutes to play.

This edition contains two game-card sets: The Werewolf and Undying Heart. Play either set independently or combine sets to create a custom game, keeping only one Lost Legacy card in play.

At the start, each player receives one card from a sixteen-card deck. The Ruins also hold one card, and may gain more as the game progresses. Every turn gives you a choice between the card in your hand and the card you draw, making each play a careful balance of information, risk, and timing.

  1. Draw: Add the top card of the deck to your hand.
  2. Play: Choose one of your two cards and place it face up in front of you.
  3. Resolve: Carry out the card’s effect, then discard it.
  4. Investigate: When the deck is empty, use the investigation speed on your remaining card to guess where the Lost Legacy is hidden.

The Lost Legacy may be in a player’s hand or in the Ruins. Players take turns guessing whether they or another player holds it; a correct guess wins, while failure to find it means everyone loses.

By combining different sets, Lost Legacy: Fourth Chronicle can support up to six players at once. Undying Heart was previously released under its own title, with some card names later changed for this edition.
