Mister X

About this board game

Mister X is a 2009 board game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes, in which detectives pursue an elusive fugitive across Europe.

This modernized version of Ravensburger’s classic Scotland Yard moves the manhunt beyond London and onto the continent. Mister X can use new tricks, while the detectives have new actions available to help them close in.

This time, the detectives also know where Mister X is heading, adding a new focus to the pursuit. The game challenges the players to follow the trail and try to prevent another escape, while Mister X attempts to evade them once again.

The game includes the components needed to stage this Europe-wide chase:

• One game board and one ticket board
• One ticket bag, six pieces, and six ticket racks
• 120 tickets and 15 start cards
• Five color markers, 10 position rings, and 22 investigation chips
• One checklist, one Mister X visor, and one Mister X tracker

With its expanded setting, updated actions, and new tricks for Mister X, the game offers a fresh take on a well-known pursuit format. Mister X re-implements Scotland Yard while transferring its central manhunt from London to the wider European continent.
