Monster Hunter World: The Board Game – Wildspire Waste is a standalone core set for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2023, it can also be combined with Ancient Forest to create a mega campaign.

Choose any combination of available hunters and monsters, then decide how to approach each hunt. The choose-your-own-adventure element offers five unique ways to approach every monster before combat begins, giving each quest meaningful direction.

When the battle starts, positioning and teamwork are vital. Leap away from devastating attacks, strike when opportunities appear, and manage the threat by deciding which party member draws the monster’s attention. Where you attack matters as well, since targeting different areas can help you earn the loot needed for the weapons you want.
