About this expansion

Munchkin 6: Demented Dungeons is a card game for 3–6 players, with games taking about 90 minutes, that brings underground Dungeons to the Munchkin experience.

Munchkin is built around kicking down Doors, killing Monsters, and stealing Treasure. This set adds the dank walls of a subterranean labyrinth to those murderous exploits, giving the entire party new rules to contend with as the adventure unfolds.

The set includes 20 double-sized Dungeon cards. Each Dungeon introduces a new rule affecting the whole party, and in some cases the Monsters as well. These rules can shape the conditions of the current Dungeon while players continue their search for gold and glory.

  • Dungeon of Elvish Excess: everyone is an Elf.
  • Dungeon of Manga Wrangling: tentacles are even more dangerous.
  • Dungeon of Unexpected Epicness: power up in a Dungeon whose name says exactly what to expect.

The 16 Portal cards let players jump from one Dungeon to the next. Moving between these unusual locations brings new settings and rules into the game, keeping the search for Treasure tied to the Dungeon currently in play.

With its double-sized Dungeons and Portal cards, Munchkin 6: Demented Dungeons expands the world of Munchkin with a collection of subterranean lairs and party-wide effects. It is part of the Munchkin series and was released in 2008.
