About this board game

Mundo Abierto: Elria is an adventure and exploration game for 1–2 players, with games lasting around 20 minutes. Play independent adventures with any of five characters, or take on one of the solo campaigns.

Each turn, choose one available card for travel and another for performing an action. Your travel card leads you to a new location, provides fresh action options, and introduces enemies that join those from places you have already visited.

Use the available actions to meet the requirements on your mission cards before you run out of time cubes. Enemies must be defeated or avoided, while careful card selection helps you make the most of every turn.

• Play independent adventures with any of five characters.
• Choose between two solo campaign styles: a free version focused on trip planning, or a narrative version with a story revealed through completed chapters.
• Travel to new locations and gain new action options through cards.
• Manage enemies and mission requirements before your time cubes run out.

Character level plays an important role in completing missions efficiently. The higher the character’s level, the more symbols they can cross off from travel cards, helping them finish requirements more quickly.
