Paradice

About this board game

Paradice is a dice-placement and set-collection game for 2–5 players, with play lasting about 45 minutes. Players complete different stall cards by placing groups of dice that meet each stall’s requirements, aiming to finish with the highest score.

On a turn, players choose from several actions. They can take one or more dice from the vending machine, grouped by color or number, and place them on stall cards. They can also pick one stall card, or perform roulette movement by scrolling dice out from the bottom and placing their chosen group on stall cards according to their requirements.

• Place dice grouped by color or number from the vending machine.
• Choose a stall card.
• Use roulette movement to select a group of dice for stall placement.

Stall requirements vary. A stall might require all three dice to be the same color, or require one of the dice to show a 6. When a player completes a stall with three dice that satisfy its requirement, they gain an extra power. That power can be used immediately or saved for a later turn.

Completing a stall also moves the player up one level on the scoring track. The stall’s points are added at the end of the game, while bonuses and completed stalls contribute to the final result. The player with the highest score wins.

With its combination of dice selection, placement decisions, stall requirements, and set collection, Paradice challenges players to decide which opportunities to pursue as they work toward the maximum number of points.
