About this board game
Princess Jing is a bluffing game for two players or two groups, with an approximate playing time of 30 minutes. Released in 2018, it challenges players to guide their princess through a palace while concealing her progress from an opponent.
The palace can quickly become a maze for an escaping princess. Each mirror may reveal a route toward freedom or conceal a trap, creating a tense contest of deduction, misdirection, and stealth.
Players move their princesses across the board while hiding their progress. At the same time, they place allies and mirrors to help uncover the opposing princess. These choices turn the palace into a shifting puzzle in which appearances cannot always be trusted.
- Bluff and conceal your princess’s movement.
- Place allies and mirrors to search for your opponent.
- Use the palace’s mirrors to reveal a way out or hide a trap.
- Try to escape the palace and run off with your sweetheart.
Success in Princess Jing depends on using the mirrors to your advantage before your opponent’s guardians turn them into spying devices. Every hidden movement and carefully chosen placement can influence the race toward escape.
Designed for a head-to-head contest, Princess Jing combines hidden progression with a clear objective: discover the other princess while protecting your own route through the palace. Whether played by two individuals or two groups, it offers a compact game of wits and stealth.
