Railroad Evolution is an expansion for Railroad Revolution for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Released in 2019, it invites players back to the railroad with new opportunities and strategic possibilities.

This expansion changes the gameplay of Railroad Revolution and introduces different strategies to discover. A new game board provides the setting for these developments, offering another way to enjoy the railroad experience.

Railroad Evolution features a different scoring system for Telegraph connections. This revised approach gives these connections a new role within the game and changes how players can approach scoring.

The expansion also adds Wagons and Tenders. These connect to your trains and make them more powerful, creating new possibilities as your railway develops.

Another major feature is the customizable Performance scoring system. Player board extensions are included to support this system, giving players additional ways to shape their scoring experience.
