About this board game
Red Notice: A Million or Prison is a two-player chase game played in about 40 minutes, pitting a genius counterfeiter against an unyielding FBI agent in a global battle of bluffing and anticipation.
As Angela Farbank, your goal is to travel across the world and cash forged checks totaling $1,000,000. Secretly record your movements on your personal world map, and use fake identities to escape if you are captured. Every decision brings you closer to completing the plan—or exposing your location.
As Jessah Hope, you must locate Angela, blow her cover, and arrest her before she can cash enough checks. The FBI offers virtually unlimited resources, with new ways to take action becoming available as checks are cashed.
At the start of each round, four randomly drawn Action cards determine the choices available to both players. Take turns placing your tokens face down to plan when and how you will act, then resolve the actions according to their value.
- Travel to a nearby city.
- Cash a check from your hand when you are on the right continent.
- Draw a new check.
- Add or remove radars and road-blocks on the map.
The hidden planning system keeps every turn uncertain: Angela must conceal her route and time her cashing attempts, while Jessah must anticipate movements and use the available tools to close the net. With asymmetric objectives and limited action choices shaped by each round’s cards, Red Notice: A Million or Prison delivers a focused contest of deduction, deception, and pursuit.
