Sentinels of the Multiverse: Definitive Edition – Rook City Renegades is a 2023 expansion for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. It expands the core game with a new Suddenly! mechanic, six heroes, nine villains, and five environments.

The action moves into the shadows of Rook City, where the Cult of Gloom performs dark rituals and rumors tell of a red-masked killer. A monstrous rat-man-beast stalks the sewers, while The Chairman directs the city’s vast organized crime syndicate from above.

Six heroes bring different stories and abilities to the struggle. The street-level team known as Dark Watch includes the gun-toting Expatriette, the ancient martial artist and auto mechanic Mr. Fixer, the cursed paranormal investigator NightMist, the arcane avian apprentice The Harpy, and the luck-challenged but fearless Setback. The expansion also introduces Alpha, a new hero whose arrival may give the team the help it needs.
