In this timeline, the beings once dismissed as myths and urban legends grew stronger while hiding from a humanity that feared and hated them. Given centuries to flourish and multiply, they eventually emerged from darkness and obscurity, driven by revenge.

The monsters slaughtered their way through the human population, destroying everything they touched. Humanity rallied against them, but the creatures from its greatest nightmares proved too strong and too numerous. Decades became centuries, and centuries became millennia, until the world was overwhelmed.

Now, the few points of light in the darkness have long been extinguished. This is an era where heroes can become lost in time and face dangers that seem impossible to overcome. The central challenge is stark: do not expect to conquer the wasteland; hope only that you can survive it.
