About this expansion

Shards of Infinity: Relics of the Future is a 1–4 player expansion for a deck-building game, with plays lasting about 30 minutes. Set after the destruction of the Infinity Engine, it brings a world transformed by reality-warping shards and the descendants of humanity who rose from the ashes.

Each player leads one of four factions and is bound to a powerful shard. The expansion introduces special relics tied to the faction leaders. When a player reaches 10 Mastery points, they gain one of their two relics, while the other is forgotten in time. This creates a meaningful choice as players pursue their path to victory.

The set also includes cards that any player can use. When one of these cards is matched with the player’s designated faction leader, it gains an additional effect, creating stronger connections between the shared card pool and each leader’s faction.

Relics of the Future expands the ways to play with three new modes:

• Bloodbath: a three-player mode in which any damage dealt goes to both opponents instead of just one.
• 2v2 Team Attack: pair up with another player to face an opposing team.
• Nemesis: a full solitaire mode that pits one player against the game.

With its faction-specific relic decisions, Mastery threshold, adaptable cards, and multiple multiplayer and solo formats, Shards of Infinity: Relics of the Future adds new choices to the struggle for survival in a shattered world.
