About this board game
Show Manager is a board game for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes, in which players assemble four shows and compete through the value of their productions.
To create each show, players draft actor cards from a constantly changing queue. Every card represents actors with varying skills for different roles, so players must bring together the required performers for each production.
The four shows can be put together in any order. This gives players flexibility in how they approach their productions while they work toward completing every show.
Once a player has assembled all the needed roles for a show, its value is judged against the other productions of the same type. Points are awarded relative to the value of those competing productions, making each completed show part of a comparison among the players.
