About this board game

Snakes of Wrath is a 30-minute tile-laying game for two players or teams, released in 2022. Players battle to build and steal the largest snakes while carefully closing all the ends of their own snakes to emerge victorious.

Each player receives seven randomly selected tiles. Every tile offers a choice: build a new snake from any open head, grow an existing snake in your color, injure an opponent’s snake, or steal an opponent’s snake by connecting to it.

Success depends on how carefully you place your tiles. You must plan ahead, anticipate your opponent’s moves, and decide whether to build methodically or attack with a chain-reaction steal. Traps and injury tiles can disrupt an opponent’s plans, while a well-timed connection can turn their snake to your advantage.

The game’s two-sided tiles keep the board constantly uncertain. A single mistake can set off a chain reaction, flipping tiles in your opponent’s favor and changing the shape of the tangled, hedonistic ouroboros.

In Snakes of Wrath, every placement can strengthen your position or create an opening for your rival. Lay your tiles strategically, incapacitate opposing snakes, close every end, and try to control the growing tangle before your opponent does.
