About this board game

Solar Storm: Deluxe Edition is a cooperative survival game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Trapped aboard a ship whose energy core has been disabled by solar flares, the crew must work together before the vessel suffers catastrophic damage.

The ship is caught in the sun’s gravitational pull, while continuous solar flares cause further damage. Players must repair damaged areas and use limited resources to divert the remaining power from those areas back to the energy core. Cooperation is essential, as no player can survive or win alone.

On each turn, a player may take up to three actions. They can move, repair an area, divert power, scavenge for resources, share resources with other crew members, or strategically save actions for later. After every player’s turn, the ship takes additional damage, and the damage level increases as the game continues.

• Players win by directing power from every area back to the energy core.
• Players lose if an area takes too much damage or the resource deck runs dry.
• Randomly arranged ship areas create a unique setup for every game.

Every decision matters as resources dwindle and the threat intensifies. The crew must coordinate movement, repairs, power diversion, and resource sharing to keep the ship functioning long enough to restore its energy core.

The Deluxe Edition includes an eight-room-card mini-expansion, four large unique screen-printed meeples, and the Damage Control mini-expansion. In Solar Storm, survival depends on teamwork, careful use of limited resources, and acting before the next wave of damage arrives.
