About this expansion

Suburbia 5★ is an expansion for the Suburbia base game for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. It invites players to transform their growing boroughs into attractive tourist destinations.

Build landmarks, monuments, and tourist traps to increase your town’s reputation and income. These additions also help determine the player order each turn, adding another layer of competition as the metropolitan area expands.

The expansion introduces fifty new unique building tiles and components for a fifth player. It also adds a new resource to manage: ★s, representing your town’s tourist appeal.

• Expand Suburbia for up to five players.
• Add fifty unique building tiles to your available options.
• Use ★s to influence player order each turn.
• Gain bonuses or suffer penalties based on how tourist-friendly your town is.
• Use the ★ system to break ties for public and private goals.

The ★ system affects more than turn order. The most and least tourist-friendly towns receive bonuses and penalties, while ★s can also decide tied public and private goals.
