Summoner Wars: Phoenix Elves – Second Summoner

Summoner Wars: Phoenix Elves – Second Summoner is a 42-card Phoenix Elves faction deck for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2013, it introduces Queen Maldaria as the Phoenix Elves’ Second Summoner.

Queen Maldaria joins the battle with her own complete faction deck, including Champions, Commons, Walls, Event Cards, and a set-up card. The deck is a stand-alone faction deck, but it requires a Summoner Wars Master Set or Starter Set to play.

The deck’s contents include a selection of Phoenix Elves cards built around its fiery theme and the great bird whose name they invoke. Its forces include three Champions, three types of Commons, and six Phoenixes represented as Conjurations.

• Champions: Fanessa, Kaebeeros, and Duke Ramazall
• Commons: Firelings, Fire Archers, and Fire Dancers
• Events: Release the Hounds, Wrath of the Volcano, Passion of the Phoenix, Lava Flow, and Conjure Phoenixes
• Additional cards: three Walls, six Phoenixes, a Summoner Reference Card, and a Conjurations Rules Card

Beyond playing as its own faction deck, the Commons and Champions in Summoner Wars: Phoenix Elves – Second Summoner can be switched in and out with Phoenix Elves cards from the Phoenix Elves vs. Tundra Orcs starter set and the Rukar’s Power reinforcement pack. This gives Phoenix Elves players another way to combine cards from across their collection.
