Tang Garden: Golden Age is an expansion for Tang Garden for 1–4 players, with a play time of 45 minutes. Released in 2020, it adds a substantial collection of new components to the garden-building experience.

This expansion contains several stretch goals from the Tang Garden Kickstarter, bringing new characters, decorations, landscapes, lanterns, and garden tiles to the game. Its contents offer a broad range of additions for players who want to expand their Tang Garden collection.

• 16 garden tiles: four each of grass, rock, water, and tao
• 8 characters, each with a card and plastic miniature
• 5 decorations, each with two tokens and three cards
• 6 landscapes: three large and three small
• 2 lantern types, with four lantern tokens of each type
• 1 six-sided scenario die

The character roster includes the Emissary, Gardener, Geomancer, Literate, Musician, Nobleman, Princess, and Tao Priest. Each arrives with its own card and plastic miniature, giving the expansion eight distinct character additions.

The decoration selection includes the Butterfly, Bonsai, Duck, Vase, and Ninfea. With two tokens and three cards for each decoration, these additions complement the new garden tiles and landscapes.
