About this board game
The Brambles: A Solo Card Game is a one-player card game that takes about 25 minutes to play. You are the Teller, a local practitioner of spiritual arts charged with rescuing two children trapped by dark evils in the haunted brambles.
As keeper of The Collection, you possess a set of Tarot-like cards compiled from various old sources. Passed down through generations of Tellers, this knowledge can be used to tell fortunes, give blessings, cast spells, and fight the supernatural dangers hidden in the brambles.
Your goal is to play different card combinations with enough power to defeat the 20 Bramble Evils. Each victory brings the children closer to freedom, but the Collection is limited. If it runs out before you overcome the evils, the children are lost to the Brambles forever.
- Players: 1
- Playing time: approximately 25 minutes
- Core objective: defeat 20 Bramble Evils and release the children

Every game places you in the role of the community’s spiritual defender, with parishfolk counting on your knowledge and judgment. Use the Collection to confront the wicked brambles, overcome their dark inhabitants, and complete the rescue before your available cards are exhausted.
Released in 2020, The Brambles offers a focused solo experience built around supernatural storytelling and card-based problem solving. It is a compact journey from the Teller’s morning call to the fate of two children caught in the brambles.
