About this board game
The Search for UAPs is a deduction game for 1–5 players that takes about 60 minutes, inviting astronomy enthusiasts to investigate unexplained objects at the edge of space.
After spotting something unusual during an evening of stargazing, you must use your telescope, camera, and computer research to follow the evidence. Your goal is to track down an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon and help the global scientific community understand what might be out there.
The search takes place among objects in orbit, where familiar relationships can become surprisingly difficult to read. Rotating orbits continually change object placement and adjacency as Earth rotates, creating new possibilities throughout the game.
- Deduce the location of mysterious UAPs.
- Analyze satellites and photograph objects in the sky.
- Work with changing quantities of objects.
- Use spatial relationships such as next to, above, below, in the same quadrant, or directly across from another object.
Search for and take pictures of satellites, the International Space Station, or the Hubble Telescope to improve your understanding of the orbital scene. Each observation can help narrow the possibilities while the changing arrangement keeps the deduction puzzle in motion.
With its focus on real-world sightings, astronomy, and evolving spatial clues, The Search for UAPs offers deduction fans a fresh challenge built around a world that never stays still.
