About this expansion
The Shipwreck Arcana: Stars Below is a five-card mini-expansion for the cooperative deduction game The Shipwreck Arcana, for 2–5 players with a 30-minute play time.
These five new arcana cards can be shuffled into the existing deck, adding more variety and challenge to the game. Stars Below also introduces a new mechanism: mandatory effects.
Mandatory effects allow the cards to manipulate the game state even when they are not being played on. This creates a distinctive addition to the cooperative deduction experience, giving the new cards an impact beyond their standard role in play.
The expansion includes five arcana cards:
- The Ash
- The Musicians
- The Fall
- The North Wind
- The Thief
