About this expansion

Starfarers of Catan: 5-6 Player Expansion expands The Starfarers of Catan for five or six players, with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. It adds everything needed to bring two additional Starfarers into the exciting science-fiction challenge of exploring the galaxy.

With this expansion, a larger group can compete to build new colonies and expand commercial ties with the various races of the Galactic Council. Players pursue the support of humanity and the galaxy’s other races through careful diplomacy, clever trade, a firm stance against pirates, and the bold colonization of distant planetary systems.

The expansion provides a range of components for adding the extra players and extending the game board. It also introduces a new alien race, creating another opportunity for encounters during your journey through the galaxy.
