Tinners’ Trail: Expanded Edition is a strategic mining game for 1–5 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes. Set in 19th-century Cornwall, it places you in control of a mining conglomerate during the height of the tin and copper industry.

Buy plots of land in auctions, survey them for valuable ore, and manage your limited work points and money carefully. Once a mine is established, extract tin and copper while balancing the rising cost of deeper mining. Selling at the right moment is crucial, as market prices can determine whether an operation delivers a profit.

Developments help reduce mining costs, but useful improvements are limited. Ports, train stations, and adits can support your mining network, creating important decisions about where and when to invest. After generating income, put your money into industries outside Cornwall to gain victory points—the earlier you invest, the better the potential return.
