About this board game

Travelin’ is a strategy board game for 2–5 players that plays in about 50 minutes, casting you as a traveler journeying through Europe by train, bus, and plane.

Designed to be accessible to non-gamers while still offering meaningful decisions, Travelin’ combines card drafting, hand management, set collection, and take-that interaction. Each player begins with eight cards, including countries to play and actions to use during the journey.

Every turn follows three phases: draw, action, and discard. Use your cards to advance your travels, collect countries, and build your score, while watching the routes and plans of your opponents. The game ends when one player reaches five countries, and the player with the most points wins.

  • Race across Europe: Move through countries such as France and Germany to help bring the game to its conclusion.
  • Chase valuable destinations: Pursue high-point countries such as Cyprus or Iceland for a longer-term scoring strategy.
  • Adapt to opponents: Balance stopping other players’ travels with advancing your own.

Travelin’ supports different approaches from game to game. You might choose a fast and furious route, pushing toward five countries and an early finish, or take a long-haul strategy focused on collecting high-point destinations. Either way, card choices and timing matter as you manage a changing hand.

With its blend of accessible rules, strategic planning, and direct player interaction, Travelin’ turns a European journey into a competitive race for points. Every trip demands a delicate balance between building your own route and disrupting the plans of your fellow travelers.
